When Nicole comes to town...

Kyleigh's first day of preschool, then off to Seattle!

(My sister was REALLY enjoying this guy druming on a bucket and wine bottles, really it was very good) This pics for you Nicole! Hehe

Everytime Nicole visits she LOVES to go to downtown Seattle. I will admit her family is not very eager to go with her, but this year was different. Maybe because my kids are a little older, but it was fun. I put Evan in the backpack and off we went. It was a nice day to walk along the waterfront. We miss you already and can't wait for you to come back again, we love you, though Kyleigh sees you everytime a plane goes by. (Hi co-pilot, hi Auntie Nicole)

Party time

Kyleigh had a My Little Pony party this year, and she had a blast. Thanks to everyone who came, and for all your thoughtful gifts, Kyleigh loves them all!

Kyleigh got a fish from Auntie Nicole. She named it Sparkles then yellow, red, and Elizabeth. She finally stuck with red, for now anyways. Thanks Nicole I really love cleaning the tank. ;)

Desiree hard at work!

Before:

YIKES, I know, just wait...

After:
I really didn't do anything, it was all my talented cousin MORGAN, and his helper ADAM!!! Thanks guys, both rooms turned out great!

We got our KEYS!!!

On Sept. 9th, we finally got our keys to our house! The kids were so excited that they were able to go into the house. They weren't allowed throughout the building process. As you can see, they were so happy, and Evan is learning about posing for pictures from his sister. :)

Kyleigh's 5th Birthday!

Kyleigh over the years...(lots of pics, hehe)

On September 8th, Kyleigh turned 5. I can't believe that I have a 5 year old. At least she still gets to stay home one more year before Kindergarten. :)

Catch up time...Preemie Picnic

Every year we go back to Evergreen and have a picnic with the NICU staff. They have a bounce house, face painting, and give away prizes. This year, just Kyleigh and I went, but we still had fun. Kyleigh loved the bounce house, and she FINALLY let someone paint her face. When she was in the NICU, we donated money to the hospital in her name and they painted her name on the little clown fish in this mural.

Summer!

Michael and Kyleigh playing at Grandma and Grandpa Lothyan's. Look how high he got her!

These are pictures from the REALLY hot week we had here in Seattle. It was 105 in Bothell, that is unheard of. In Kirkland it was 112, Seattle it was 103 and in Tucson it was 102, how crazy that we beat AZ. Anyways, we survived with lots of pool play and popsicles. Thank goodness Auntie Nicole bought the kids the "drinking fountain"(Slip 'n slide) it came in handy on those hot days.

Hike to the ice caves

We decided last minute to go up to th ice caves. We had heard they had formed and thought it would be fun to get out of the house. It was a long drive for the kids, but a pretty easy hike. Kyleigh walked the entire way up, with only a few stops for a break. We had Evan in the Kelty and he loved it. The caves were so neat, and the wind blowing off them was like were were in an ice box. Evan kept hiding his head from it. While we were standing in this cave we heard a loud pop and then a chunk of ice fell into the little stream. That's when I knew it was time to leave. Justin carried Evan down, and I gave Kyleigh a piggy back ride, good thing it was all down hill.
