I'm the first one to say that I LOVE the snow. I love to play in it, go sledding and I love to eat it. It is getting a little old at this point, but what can you do. Kyleigh is having so much fun playing in the snow. She loves to throw snowballs at me, and run at me and knock me down just to wrestle in the snow. We are having a lot of fun playing in the yard, and having a fun time together as a family. We took a walk the other night and put the kids in the sled. Evan just babbled the entire way, probably telling us he was cold, but he was excited to be in the sled. It hasn't been much fun being trapped at the house, and my Dr. appt. was cancelled because of the snow (my follow-up for getting my stint out) so that has been frustrating. Hopefully I will get to my appt. on time on Christmas Eve and get it out. I hope you are all enjoying the snow as well.

Tippy!

Yesterday was not a very good day for us since we had to put our dog down. She was 15 years old, and she was blind and deaf, and I'm sure she was miserable. She was having accidents at my mom's house on a regular basis, and we just knew it was time. I was upset, but at the same time pretty comfortable with what we had to do. So my mom watched the kids while Justin and I brought Tippy to the vet. On our way to my mom's we tried to prep Kyleigh as to what was going to happen. We explained that Tippy was old, blind, deaf, etc. Then we talked about Tippy going to Heaven and that she would be with Grampy (Kyleigh and Evan's Great Grandpa they both met and spent time with.) What was Kyleigh's reaction? "Can I play with grandma's toys?" I'm glad that she didn't take it as hard as I thought. When we got to my mom's Kyleigh walked in and said, "Grandma, Tippy is going to Heaven today." After we took some pictures and said our goodbyes, we left. The vet was really nice, and Tippy was gone before he had even given her all the medicine. It was very calm, except for me blubbering all over her. When we got home Kyleigh asked if Tippy was in Heaven and we said yes. She said that Jesus is petting her, as well as Grampy. Now it's going to take some time going to my parents house and not seeing her, but I know we did the right thing, and that she is in a better place. I do have other pics of her as a younger dog, but I didn't have a digital camera then, and I don't have a scanner, so these are the best I can do!

I'm alive!
Yesterday I checked into Overlake hospital for a Lithotripsy or shock wave therapy. It started out with some entertainment from the two nurses getting me settled. I could tell they did not get along, and so I just smiled and observed, it was pretty funny. Then after my IV was put in and they took some blood the anesthesiologist came in with some "happy juice" as he called it. I said bye to Justin, and before I was even out of my room I noticed I was already flying, and that was all I remember. Then I woke up, and it was all done. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. My biggest fear was being put out and not waking up. Even the night before when I put Kyleigh and Evan to bed I got a little emotional, I know I'm paranoid. So now I get to catch the stones and save them in a container to bring back to the Dr. next week, that's really exciting. I just have a small bruise on my back, and the only thing that really hurts today is my Kidney and back. So life will soon be back to normal, and I just want to thank everyone for your calls, and prayer on my behalf, I really appreciate it. Also thanks to my mom and dad, and to my in-laws for watching my kids, and feeding us. Hopefully we will never have to go through this again!

Soliciting Myself!
I am trying, TRYING to sell some hand beaded socks. I just set up a blog called Kyler's kozies which I will be adding pictures of the different socks I make. Unfortunatly I just placed all my socks in a boutique and didn't take individual pics of them. So as I make more, I will post more photos. Anyways, check out the blog, and if you want(see me now kneeling and begging) please link up to my site(You can find my site in my sites I stalk section). Also, if anyone knows how to set up a paypal account could you help me, thanks so much for all your support. Wish me luck!

My baby boy is ONE!!!

I cannot believe how fast this year has gone by. My little boy turned one yesterday. Justin was able to take the day off of work so we could throw a party for him. We had a blue/green theme, and I made a snake cake. I know you are wondering why a snake, but Evan is in love with snakes. Whenever we go to someones house, if they have a toy snake he goes for it. So I thought a snake cake would be fitting, and it was fun to make. So both sets of Grandparents came, Maren and her kids, and my brother Aaron and his family came. It was a lot of fun, and we loved watching Evan eat his cake. He eats anything you put in front of him, so we knew it was going to be entertaining, and we weren't disappointed. We are so grateful that Evan is a part of our family. We prayed so hard for a healthy baby, and we are truly blessed that he was. He has such a great personality and he makes us laugh everyday. He is on the verge of walking, he actually took his first step today, Kyleigh and I were so excited. We love you Evan, you are our special little boy! Happy 1st birthday!
Thanks for the video Grandpa Lothyan!
Loving the dollar store balls from Kyleigh!
Silly girl!
Loving the truck Uncle Aaron and his family gave him! (So does Kyleigh!)
Enjoying the cake.

Thanksgiving with the fam!
This year Thanksgiving was pretty low key for us. We went over to my in-laws, and my parents also came. Justin's sister Maren came with Jon and Sophie, and later Justin's brother Matt came over for dessert. The food was so good, and everything turned out great. It was nice to spend Thanksgiving together as a family. Sorry for all the pics!
Sophie and Jon snoozing after dinner.
An ice cream cone and pumpkin pie!?!
