The Wiggles

The Wiggles came to Everett on July 17th(I'm a little late in posting) and we thought Kyleigh would love it. Sure enough, she had a great time. We NEVER do stuff like this, but our life has been so crazy lately we thought it would be good for her. She danced her little heart out, and loved the popcorn and soda! Even now if she sees Wiggles on TV she yells, "Remember when we saw that!" Oh, and Captain Feathersword is pretty ripped, we were shocked.

Some of the girls!
This was a perfect day for Jetty island, we had so much fun and so did the kids. Notice below lots of new posts! I'm playing catch up.

Raspberries and chocolate pudding!

While we are staying at my parents house we are enjoying the raspberries growing in the garden. What goes well with fresh picked raspberries? Chocolate pudding.

A busy day

Justin's sister is in town with her kids, so we have been trying to spend as much time with them as we can. Thursday we took a trip to the UW waterfront to rent boats and then had a picnic at the arboretum, it was a lot of fun.

3rd of July

Since the family was going to be gone on the 4th and Justin had to work, we did some fireworks on the 3rd. It was fun, and others in the neighborhood enjoyed them too, until the cops came. They just let us off with a warning and let us keep our few fireworks, so we ended up lighting them off when Justin came home from work around 12:30, to bad all the kids were sleeping, the adults liked them though. Kyleigh covering her ears for the fireworks, they were really not that loud.

The cousins watching the fireworks on the grass.

We FINALLY convinced Kyleigh that she could run through the smoke bombs and it was ok, it took awhile though.

The 4th

This was definately not the best 4th ever. It didn't help the both kids were sick with bad colds, fever, and I was starting to catch it. We went to the Bothell parade, and it was too hot, especially with feverish kids.

This was pretty much throughout the parade, poor Evan, not fun.
So that night I stayed home from the festivities with my sister and my kids. Put them to bed, watched some fireworks in the neighborhood and watched a movie. It ended pretty nice, thanks for hanging with me sis!

Our house is going up!!!

Just some pics of our house throughout the construction process. I am getting so excited for September when we get to move in!!!
It looks so small when it's just the foundation.

Yay, the second story, now it's looking like a house!

Finally windows, doors and the roof, now it doesn't seem so small. :)
